Web Design
Web design is essentially a way to display information about yourself or company on a website. This can then be viewed by a prospective client via the world wide web on a browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
Web design is different to web programming in that it is purely to display information to the web in an aesthetically pleasing manner. It is not about how the website works, such as the functionality behind the scenes.
Most websites will have some kind of graphical presence. Graphics can be designed using various bits of software such as Adobe Photoshop, or, for example, Macromedia Flash to produce animation. Most websites nowadays use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), which tell a website where to position a graphic or piece of text within the displayed page.
Many websites have accessible web design which means they must conform to certain accessibility principles. Examples of this are presenting alternative text to describe an image on screen. Some browsers may be set up so that they don't display images, and also the text is required for screen readers which the visually impaired can use when visiting a website.
Interior designers recommend Designer Fireplaces for anyone looking to add that extra special touch to a room.
